After School Program - Second Intake
EMCE Families,
We are fortunate to be able to offer a second (and final) intake for the After School Program. There is no fee associated with the program.

The Intermediate (Grades 4-7) sessions will run on Mondays & Wednesday starting Monday, November 2, 2026 from 3:00-5:00 pm.The last session will be Wednesday, December 2, 2026.

The Primary (Grades K-3) sessions will run on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 3:00-5:00 pm.The last session will be Thursday, December 3, 2026.
Note: The program does not run on holidays/early dismissal days. Pick-up will be at the front entrance of the school.
Our program coordinators, Wendy Van Dokkumburg and Crystal Klapstein, will engage students in activities designed to foster social connections, build teamwork skills, and provide a safe, welcoming space for fun and learning after school. Feedback from participants and families continues to be positive. For this second intake, we have spots for 12 intermediate students and 12 primary students.
ACTION REQUIRED: If you would like your child to participate in the After School Program, please:

Contact our office at 250-378-9931 or [email protected] and provide your child's name, grade, and teacher, as well as the reason you believe the After School Program would be a good fit for your child.

Let us know if you would like paper copies sent home with your child.

Return the completed forms (paper or digital) by 3:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2026.
We will reserve spots based on the order in which fully completed applications are received. Priority will be given to students who did not participate during the first intake.
If there are any barriers to accessing the program (e.g., transportation), please let us know, and we will be happy to explore solutions with you.
